THE PROBLEM

Not every legal question should require outside counsel.

You’ve got a lawyer on speed dial for things your own team could figure out in five minutes — if anyone had ever bothered to teach them how.

Instead, every contract question, every “can we do this?” moment, every mildly scary clause gets forwarded to outside counsel. You wait three days.

You get a memo full of hedges. You pay four figures for the privilege of still not knowing what to do.

Or, you’ve been in business for a year, five years, ten years or more. You’ve grown. You’re profitable. Outside legal spend is high but maybe not high enough to replace with a full-time general counsel. Still, you are overwhelmed with legal questions that every successful business has. You are either accepting the risk or paying outside counsel.

That’s not legal risk management. That’s expensive anxiety.

There is another way.
What I Do

By the end of the day, you have a framework built for your business:

One day, on-site. Real due diligence — your contracts, your team, your actual exposure. Not a seminar. Not a template pack you’ll never open.

You’ll still need a lawyer sometimes. Just a lot less than you think, and never again for the easy stuff.

What you can decide yourself

The stuff that’s not actually a landmine, no matter how scary it sounds.

What needs a second look

Judgment calls that deserve five minutes of thought, not a lawyer’s inbox.

What genuinely needs a lawyer

And exactly who to call when it does.

HOW IT WORKS

Before. On-site. After.

01.

Before arrival

Send your existing legal documents—standard contracts, employee handbooks, IP portfolio (don’t worry, I’ll send you a full list.)

02.

On-site

A full day of due diligence—documents, interviews, real conversations with whoever manages legal decisions in your business.

03.

After

A written decision framework, an escalation flowchart, and a template library—yours forever.

THE ALTERNATIVES

Better than the alternatives.

That's a lawyer on a monthly retainer — still answering your questions, just cheaper than a full-time hire.

You've swapped one dependency for a smaller one. I’m not trying to be your part-time lawyer. I’m trying to make sure you need one a lot less often.

Generic modules, generic scenarios, built for nobody's contracts in particular.

You’ll finish it knowing more law and still not knowing what to do with your next contract negotiation.

You don’t subscribe to me. I show you how to avoid needing me.

That's a document mill — fill in some blanks, get a generic template, hope it fits.

It doesn't know your business, doesn't sit with your team, and doesn't teach you anything. You'll still be guessing next time something doesn't match the template. I’m not selling you paperwork. I’m selling you judgment.

Dangerous when you don’t know the answer to expect—tell it some basic information and get a plausible answer.

“Plausible” being the key word. AI gives the illusion of competence but rarely gets it right the first time and requires back-and-forth with knowledgeable personnel. I’m going to show you how to cut through the BS and make the tools work for you effectively.

WHY THIS, WHY ME

Deep knowledge of the law. Practical decision-making for business.

Twenty-plus years as a lawyer—trial attorney, General Counsel—as well as an experienced C-suite executive making decisions at the highest level.
Not here to replace your lawyer

I’m here to make sure you only need one when it matters. And to make sure you know the difference.

The Math

Price transparency.

After our initial call, I will quote you for the entire project, start to finish. No discounts. No hidden charges. No upselling to more expensive “packages.” Just a straightforward fixed fee.

Most engagements will be completed for less than $25,000, but I will be upfront when I don’t think that is enough time and quote you accurately and stick to it.

And I don’t abandon you after the project concludes either. I always provide counsel referrals for as long as you need them for no additional cost and offer refreshers quarterly, twice a year or annually at an hourly rate.

A single BigLaw due diligence memo costs more than a full day with me — and that memo answers one question. My framework answers the next hundred.

No. You will still need legal counsel for matters that genuinely require it. The goal is to give your team the judgment to handle routine questions internally, recognize what deserves a second look, and know exactly when a lawyer should be involved.

Before the visit, you’ll provide your existing legal documents—standard contracts, employee handbooks, IP portfolio, and other relevant materials (don’t worry, I’ll send you a full list). The on-site engagement then includes a full day of document review, interviews, and practical discussions built around your business’s real situations.

You’ll receive a written decision framework, an escalation flowchart, and a practical template library tailored to your business. These materials remain yours permanently—there is no subscription or ongoing dependency.

After the initial call, you’ll receive one transparent fixed-fee quote covering the project from start to finish. There are no hidden charges, packages, or upselling. Most engagements are completed for less than $25,000, although the exact cost depends on the scope required.
